New Funds Opened in 2006
In 2006, 44 new funds were opened by individuals, families, and nonprofit groups. MCF is grateful for the trust placed in us to help them fulfill their charitable goals.

Supporting Organizations at MCF
The Foundation is the home of five supporting organizations—charitable institutions that operate under the umbrella of the Marin Community Foundation: The Bingham, Osborn & Scarborough Foundation, Bank of Marin Foundation, Fullerton Family Foundation, Marin Education Fund, and the Donald B. Tanklage and Carole F. Tanklage Family Foundation. Each has a separate board of directors and makes grants that reflect its mission. MCF made its annual Beryl H. Buck Awards for Achievement and introduced the new MCF Leaders in Giving Award.
MCF Volunteer Committees
The Foundation benefits enormously from the work of community volunteers who serve on these committees: MCF Awards Committee, Professional Advisory Committee, and Investment Committee.
